Undergrad: Matthew Russell. UCARE student working rover measurements and unsaturated flow measurements. Matt's work is funded by UNL UCARE and ARD. 

Graduate: Xiaochen Dong. MS student working cosmic-ray neutron measurements and remotely sensed biomass. 

Graduate: Catie Finkenbiner. MS student working on cosmic-ray neutron rover measurements, calibration and integrating remote sensing products. Catie's work is funded by UNL extension. 

Graduate: Foad Foolad. PhD student in civil engineering working on integrating remotely sensed ET data with cosmic-ray neutron rover measurements. Foad's work is funded by the Platte River Recovery Project.

Graduate: Justin Gibson. PhD student working on unsaturated flow modelling, unsaturated flow measurements, and crop modelling as part of the Western Nebraska Irrigation Project with The Nature Conservancy. Justin's work is funded by Daugherty Water For Food Institute and The Nature Conservancy.

Former Members

William Avery (2014-2016). M.S. from SNR in August 2016: "The Cosmic-ray Neutron Probe Method for Estimating Field Scale Soil Water Content: Advances and Applications". William is now an intern at the IAEA Soil and Water Laboratory in Vienna Austria.

Tiejun Wang (2014-2016). Visiting Scientist/Postdoc. Tiejun is now an associate professor in China after an extremely productive stay in Nebraska.
